Mango Passion Fruit Yerba Mate

I really like this flavor. The mango and passion fruit combination is fruity and refreshing without being overly sweet, which is something I appreciate in an energy drink.At only 20 calories per can, it gives me plenty of flavor without a lot of sugar or calories. I also like that the caffeine comes from organic yerba mate rather than this tasting like a conventional energy drink.Each can does contain 150 mg of caffeine, which is a fairly substantial amount, so that’s something to keep in mind depending on when you drink it. Despite the caffeine content, the drink itself tastes light and refreshing.I’ve tried more than one flavor from Saint James and have been impressed with them. This is another one I’d happily drink again.

Saint James Iced Tea has knocked it out of the park with their Yerba Mate line. I would reach for any of the Yerba Mate flavors that I have tried, over any other Saint James Iced Tea. It's ust delicious, and very refreshing when chilled. This is like a lightly sweet juice, with the caffeine boost of Yerba Mate, a South American herb. It also has more caffeine, which I need to function. There are a substantial 150 mg of caffeine in a bottle of this!This is not a zero calorie drink like some of the Saint James Iced Tea varieties, but at 20 calories per bottle it's a very skinny option indeed. There are 4 grams of sugars, of which 2 grams are added sugar. It doesn't need any more, it's perfect.The bottles themselves that this product come in are so attractive. They're aluminum, so they are recyclable like a soda can. The metal tears slightly when they twist off and it can be a little sharp so I feel these are not for little kids. It's obviously positioned as an adult refreshing and trendy drink.

I've never had yerba mate before so I wasn't sure what to expect. This has a nice smooth, mild taste to it with no funky aftertaste.The mango passionfruit flavor is there, but it is pretty minimal and just offers lightly fruity notes. The drink is lightly sweetened, not too much or too little. Generally it leans a bit bland but I prefer that to being overly flavored or sweetened.The caffiene content is a lot- it says "gently caffeinated" on the bottle but I'm not sure 150mg qualifies no matter the source! Regardless, I do find it to be a reasonable substitute for an energy drink.

As a big fan of Saint James iced tea and mango, I was really excited to try this new yerba mate blend. And it doesn't disappoint!They look just like the product photos and are really high quality and well made. The bottles are an exciting vibrant blue color, and they're decent sized, so they're satisfying and should go far.And they taste delicious! They're very bright and fruity. The mango flavor is unmistakably in the foreground, while the tea takes somewhat of a backseat (which is how I like my iced tea). And they're subtly sweet and natural tasting. I love that they're so low in calories and sugar too. And the caffeine is appreciated, especially when I'm bringing them on the go.Overall, they're delicious and a great value! Highly recommend!

I love pretty much all tea, and all fruit, so this was a wonderful combination. I also don't love drinking a ton of sugar, so I appreciated that it only has 3g of sugar. There is a hint of stevia flavor, but it doesn't bother my husband at all.Honestly, I love it. It is great to have some caffeine in pretty much anything I drink, especially since during the day there are times when I just can't get more coffee, and this is a great little pick me up.I also love the color, and the aluminum bottle. They are cute, fun to have in my bag, and a freshing different flavor that mixes things up from my water bottles.
